Multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, producer, arranger, and bandleader, Jeff Smith, has been skillfully crafting his own songs, as well as performing solo and in his various bands including, his most recent, Sunny@Midnight.

Jeff is an artist who lives in the world he creates. He explores, the beauty and complexity of human experiences through music, storytelling, and creative expression. He has a distinct approach that blends evocative lyricism and solid rhythmic grooves, and his creations reflect literal and metaphorical connection to the wilderness of the world.

His inspiration comes from nature, personal journeys, and observations of the emotional impact we have on each other as we entangle ourselves with each other. 
Smith has created a unique niche in the artistic landscape. He celebrates the interior workings of our thoughts and emotions using poetics, humor and low drama while making music that is as appealing to hear as it is to move to. His work has been featured many times in national television programs, such as  the CBS hit comedy "Young Sheldon", "Army Wives", "The Young and the Restless", an independent TV murder mystery, and major ad campaign, earning him recognition for his ability to craft appealing and resonant narratives.

Guided by a philosophy of artistic honesty and exploration, Smith’s mission is to engage audiences in thought-provoking experiences that challenge perspectives and emotions evoke introspection. His upcoming project includes a full length release of music, “Humphrey Piedmont’s Revelation Well”, that contains stylistic references and points of inspiration that he feels influenced him to become an artist.
